c. Fine

2) Hair Elasticity

a. Straight

b. Wavy

c. Curly

Hair Texture

To know your hair texture, approaching hairstylist is advisable.

The most suitable hair texture for layered cut is coarse though other textures can be layered.

While all textures can be layered, some will work better with layers than others, and the type of layering used can also make or break your look. In a nutshell, the hair texture that will get the most benefit out of layers is coarse. The type of layering done on your hair also matter a lot. If fine hair is layered too much, then it will look very think with less volume. Medium hair is best suited for layers though the finish depends on the correctness of layering; uneven layering may lead to spoilt hair cut. The right layers done will give extra volume and movement with thickness.

Hair Elasticity

Straight and wavy hairs are best suited for layers with the lovely locks doing a good makeover on your look. Wavy hair gets enhanced with the texture and shape of the hair cut. Right Layers in right areas for straight hair will give a lively look for straight hair. Curly hair is not that much suited for layering. Special care is must while adding layers to curly hair.
