Well that sux!  Why on earth would they launch exclusive with AT&T?  I am a sprint customer and blackberry user.  Was excited about the Torch.  Have no desire to switch carriers and won’t be doing that.  Guess it will be awhile before I get a new blackberry…

    What is an iPhone 4G?
    There is no such thing.
    It’s called the iPhone 4.
Calling it the iPhone 4G is incorrect and misleading.
AT&T does not have a 4G network only 3G. Only Sprint supports a 4G speed wireless network and they have phones that support 4G speeds. (ex. EVO 4G)
The iPhone also does not have capabilities to run on a 4G network.
The reason the iPhone 3G was dubbed that name was because the original iPhone did not support a 3G network so by releasing there second phone (with 3G support) it got that name.
Sorry, I would think a credible news source such as this would be making the correct distinction.
