As always,the presentation started with a recap of Apple’s recent successes, firstly was mentioned the success of iBooks,with over 2500 titles published on this new platform and more than 100 million books downloaded.In addition,Jobs announced that Apple has registered in its stores(iTunes, App Store and iBooks)more than 200 million accounts. After that he mentioned the figures of the iPad,a product widely criticized at first by the competition, but that has swept the market with over 15 million devices sold in the first nine months.And now,a year later is when the competition is starting to take tablets out on the market. Steve Jobs has emphasized that 2010″was the year of iPad”,a product with more than 65,000 unique applications .The best moment was the presentation of an emotional video that showed all the achievements of iPad .”This is only the beginning,” announced the end of the video.
And finally comes the announcement of the new iPad 2 with a”completely new design.”The first thing Apple has talked about is the new A5 chip that will double the speed of the CPU and graphics processor(game developers prepare yourselves because  iPad 2 comes with a lot more power). The battery is not affected by this change,because ,as always, Apple has ensured the best possible performance.Apple has managed to keep the 10 hours that gave us on the first iPad,despite the fact that this device will be much thinner than its predecessor(33% thinner than the original iPad).And,the iPad will be even thinner than the iPhone 4, with a thickness of 8.8 mm and,of course, less weight.
